2008 Analysis: Repko didn't play much in 2008. His numbers in the minors were pretty good, but in the big leagues, he mostly was used as a defensive replacement.2009 Outlook: If Juan Pierre is traded and Andruw Jones wasn't around, I'd say Repko would be a good 5th outfielder. He's got speed and arm strength. However, there's a good chance Pierre will be back next year, and it's almost certain Andruw won't be going anywhere. If that's the case, there might already be more than five outfielders on the team and there might not be room for Repko on the team. Repko might end up spending 2009 in the minors waiting for a call up if someone goes down with injury.
