Feels Good To Be Home

Wow... that was a rocky road trip. And I don't just say that because we played Colorado... hah... ha... anyone? Ok.

But seriously folks...

4-5 on the road trip coming off a 6-0 homestand? What happened? We got our first and our second series losses of the season during this trip.

Our pitching was beaten up, our hitting was ok (if not consistant, runs per game on the trip: 5,5,2,6,6,4,4,5,4), and our bullpen surrendered more leads than you'd certainly hope for.

Twas not pretty.

But there is good news. We're home. And home for a while.

In fact, we're not leaving Los Angeles until May 12th. 11 games at home in a row now. And man could we use it.

Also, starting tonight we play four games against San Diego, who trails us by 2.5 games in the NL West. We could definitely use this weekend to gain some ground on them.

Point is, yes, that road trip wasn't pretty, but I'm still feeling good.

Ain't nothing like some home cooking.
